Sonaris

A sensory odyssey in Jerusalem

You are invited to be the first to experience a unique trip into the stunning spaces on the Sherover Promenade, which proposes new ways of looking at Jerusalem as you listen to  Roaming – a  site-specific creation by groundbreaking musician Kutiman.

Roaming is launching Sonaris, our new, unique digital platform that was designed especially for the Sherover Promenade and invites audiences to enjoy the intersection of art, location, and digital innovation. Roaming invites you to create a personal, interactive soundtrack crafted solely by your choices.

How does it work?

All you have to do is:

  • Download the (free) Sonaris App from the App Store,
  • Come to FeelBeit with a good set of earphones and a fully-charged phone
  • Head down to the promenade.

The moment you activate the App, it will guide you:

  • You can choose to follow possible routes outlined on the map in which musical surprises are waiting for you in every corner, or:
  • You can choose your own route guided by Kutiman, or mix the two options.

It’s up to you! Whatever choice you make regarding where to start and how long to stay there will determine what you hear and when.

When?

We recommend experiencing Sonaris during the day and combining it with a visit to our café, which is open on Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00-2:00 pm, and our terrace on Tuesday to Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm.

How long does it take?

The length of the Sonaris experience also depends on what you choose to do. It can last for a few minutes to an hour and even more as you walk along the kilometer-long pathways on the promenade.

Who is it for?

The Sonaris experience is suitable for all ages.
